Beginning Saturday, October 5, HLAA Westchester will be holding its monthly meetings at the Yonkers Public Library, Grinton I. Will branch, 1500 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY, in the ground floor Senator John Flynn Community Room. The Yonkers Public Library, founded by a grant from Andrew Carnegie, is the largest member of the Westchester Library System with 105 staff members and a collection of nearly 700,000 books and other materials. The Grinton I. Will branch is a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility that offers a variety of individual meeting rooms and a modern auditorium that may be used for some of our larger activities. Rooms will have an induction hearing loop, as well as CART real-time captioning services. The library is easily accessible by car from the Sprain Brook Parkway, the New York State Thruway, Bronx River Parkway, and locally on Central Park Avenue (Route 100). Library parking is free and plentiful.
